I made this floral background using the same technique as I explained on another background post. It is very easy to do. The flowers in the center are just stamped and then I used direct to paper directly over the stamped image. I originally stamped the flowers on ivory paper and thought It would look fine. It didn't. I was going to throw it out but then I decided to play.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE A COLOR MAKES! I thought I would show you this picture as well, just to show you the difference using different background paper to take the picture. Cool huh? I like the purple for a brighter summer feel. ALWAYS PLAY......ALWAYS DISCOVER!
The best Water Mister! I buy this product at my hairdresser. (great product!) When I finished the bottle I rinsed it out to do my recycling, because I'm such a good little recycler and discovered that it had a very soft mist to it. I have other purchased misting bottles and I have to say......This one seems to work the best, and I don't have to refill it often. Check your bottles before throwing them out.

Oops! I double posted so I will try again. :) I enjoyed visiting your blog tonight. All of your cards are lovely. Using a bottle from your hair salon is a wonderful idea for misting. Thanks for the tip.

WOW! What gorgeous flowers and colors!! TFS! :)
This is beautiful, Dorothy! I love the paper and colors. I also use recycled hair product containers that spray a very fine mist. They work beautifully!
This is a beautiful card and I love the background you have made. It is a great tip about the misting bottle, thanks for sharing.
