I'm supposed to be doing summer cards right?
I always have fall in my heart!
I promise to do some summer cards next.
the direct to paper method and then randomly stamping
leaves in different colors. Emboss the leaves or use strong
colors of dye inks.
For the Left side of this card I used a fiberMark
embossed paper. Randomly stamp leaves again.
Tear edge and ink. Age the word Autumn and then stamp
and emboss the foreground leaf. (I love this magenta leaf stamp)
Add a little Color to leaf with colored pencils or markers.

Hi Dorothy! Thanks for posting a comment on my blog and linking up as a follower. I always like having new people visit my blog...it brings me to more blogs too. I just took a cruise around your blog and was blown away with how creative your cards are. They have a unique very artsy look to them. This one is particularly stunning! I love the different techniques you used here on your paper. I didn't see any tutorials while I was cruising. Ever think of doing some so we can get a look at how you create some of these beauties? That is one thing I would like to explore more. It really helps to make your cards unique. I'm signing on as a follower because you really have my attention.
BTW, I had fun seeing the pictures of your grandchildren. They are all adorable! I laughed outloud at the picture of your grandson, Connor, dressed up like Daddy. Hope you will be posting more of those:)))

I love Autumn too Dorothy ... but then again I am enjoying the fresh bright colours of Spring (which I think may be my favourite time of year). Hmmmm ... but then the bright yellows, reds, blues and greens of Summer give me a zing so maybe that's my favourite? Ahhhh but then again, the rich reds, golds and greens of a traditional Christmas make me feel all cosy inside and are a fabulous contrast to the icy blues and purples of Winter. I think I just like all colours and all seasons LOL!
My favourite must just be whatever season is happening at the time. They all have their own beauty.
